
Daniel Crenshaw is an American politician and former Navy SEAL. Crenshaw served ten years as a Navy SEAL, completing five tours of duty, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He reached the rank of lieutenant commander and was awarded several honors, including two Bronze Star Medals, the Purple Heart, and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with valor. After medically retiring from the Navy in 2016, Crenshaw worked as a military legislative assistant for U.S. Representative Pete Sessions. This experience laid the groundwork for his future political career, which began when he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, representing Texas’s 2nd congressional district.
