Till Lindemann is a German musician best known as the frontman of the industrial metal band Rammstein. Before becoming a rockstar, Till was an Olympic-level swimmer. He participated in the European Junior Swimming Championships in 1978 and was shortlisted for the 1980 Olympics but had to discontinue due to an injury. Rammstein’s breakout song is widely considered to be “Du Hast,” released in 1997 on their second album, Sehnsucht. This song brought the band into the Western mainstream, particularly after it was featured in the 1999 film The Matrix.
